can't help myself

Here are her 4 month pictures. I am just a little obsessed with getting Terrace's pictures taken. During this "photo session" she discovered her feet (bc of the panda bear shoes...thanks e) and then would not look at the camera. Brad got me a photo scanner/printer for Christmas so I am having a wonderful time playing around with it.

Christmas Day!!

We had a wonderful relaxing Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Brad's mom Dottie. She came up for the weekend and spoiled Terrace! It was so great to just relax, watch movies, and hang out after our last busy weeks. Christmas morning we opened gifts and Terrace enjoyed trying to pull and eat the paper. Brad was the chef for the weekend and cooked a great ham on Sunday and then breakfast and his first prime rib on Monday. I had to put Brad's new blanket on there that Erika made (he really loves one of TJ's blankets that she made so I had her make one for him....thanks e). We also got to visit Amelia a few days before Christmas so I wanted to include that cute picture as well.

Be aware, there are a lot of new posts.....sorry

Bob and Stan

With Terrace here and our busy schedule's lately the cats have had enough with us, just had to include them on here.

quality time....

The cousins all had a great time together. Our older neice and nephew did such a great job helping out and entertaining Lance and Terrace.

2nd Christmas

We had a great Christmas for the kids in California. Terrace was a little more into pulling on the paper this time.

Hendrickson's in San Fran

We spent one of our last days in California in San Francisco with Scott, Julie, Lance and Aunt Diane. It was a wonderul whirlwind trip seeing most of the major sites (alot by car) such as Ghiradelli square, Fisherman's warf, Alcatraz, Lombard street, and downtown. The weather was great and I think we all really enjoyed walking around fisherman's warf. Terrace slept a lot this day while Lance got to really take in all the sites. We hope to go back and spend more time there some day soon.

wonderful time in California

We had a wonderful time in California celebrating Brad and his brother and sister's birthdays as well doing Christmas for the kids. We got to meet our new nephew Lance and spend lots of time with the Hendrickson side of the family. We enjoyed playing games with our neice and nephew, I got a manicure and makeover from Leigh, and we took lots and lots of pictures. Now that we are home we are trying to rest up and get Terrace back on somewhat of a schedule. We were happy to avoid the wind and rain here in WA.

Santa's train ride

As a part of our first Christmas we went on Santa's train ride in Birch Bay. It was a little train that we squished into and as it drove around we got to see lots of great lights. Terrace slept while we stood in the long line but got to see all of the lights. We wore these 3D glasses which made up see Santa's when we looked at the lights. It was a great little ride!

first christmas

We celebrated our first Christmas in early December bc my parents will be gone on a cruise at the end of December. My brothers girlfriend Jennifer and her son Joseph also joined us. Terrace was pretty tired by the time we got to presents and only grabbed at them. We also made gingerbread houses and went on Santa's train ride.

6 weird things

I got tagged by Rachel to list 6 weird things about myself....

1. seeing people with socks and flipflops (thongs) on makes really makes me cringe
2. I can get into any (almost any) reality tv show
3. when making breakfast, I have to cook the hashbrowns bc I like them a certain way - crispy
4. I check my email and everyone's blog sites many times a day (mostly to procrastinate doing something productive)
5. I don't know how to whistle "normal"
6. when I am unable to clean my ears with a q-tip, it drives me crazy

I tag Lisa, Danielle, and Sarah

Hi Santa

Brad had his Christmas party we were able to attend today for a short while before he had to go to work. Terrace was able to meet Santa for the first time; I am not sure she even looked at him. She is also four months old today and changing more and more. She like to be able to sit up and look around, watch other children, play peek-a-boo, and try to get toys into her mouth. We still have frozen snow everywhere though the main roads are clearing up....it is so nice to be able to go out and about again.
