cute kiddo's
here are pictures of the kids from mid october. I love how they can sit next to each other now. you can see the tree from Braeden's room and the hand print 'leaves' we made for it. I have a lot more to update but the computer is not cooperating again so we will need to figure that out. We had a wonderful fall and halloween season, have had some great weekends with Brad home, and much enjoyed our time in hot AZ! Braeden is sitting and rolling all over, starting to get really frustrated when he can't reach something he wants. Terrace is a strong willed three year old who pushes us to be better parents everyday. Some days we survive with success and other days we are challenged to our wits end!

Bellewood Acres
We have visited this apple orchard the last couple of years and this year went out with our play group. We were able to take the golf course out (3 adults and 5 kids all on one golf course) among the apple tree's, see where they made some goodies and cider. We had a yummy snack and then headed over to Lisa's house to play. It was a great day!!

Everett Children's Museum
Only if Bellingham had a great children's museum...but luckily this place is only a short drive away. We headed down here mid week with some friends and had a great time. We had 2, three year olds and 2, five month olds in our car and they all did awesome! I think we went at a perfect time bc I do not think I could carry B in the moby for very long anymore. Terrace had a great time playing and enjoyed the train table, veterinarian office, and plane. Can't wait to go back!

4 yr anniversary
I planned our anniversary weekend this year - Whale Watching. Brad and I had never been and it was a gorgeous day!!! We had blue skies all day but it was still chilly on the boat. We were out most of the day and we were able to see over 70 whales. It was a great day to spend as just the two of us and amazing to be able to see these beautiful animals so closely. My parents watched the kids over night so we also enjoyed an evening out. yes, my parents were tired!

Cheerleader...
Terrace started a week of cheer camp the same week preschool started and LOVED IT! She practiced for 90 min, three afternoons in a row and performed at a h.s. football game on Friday. I was amazed that she was able to stay focused for practice and by the end of the week actually had an idea of what she was supposed to do. Our neighbor is a cheerleader and wanted T to participate - she was the youngest one but did very well! She was very excited to preform. did well and can't wait for the basketball cheer camp early next year (I think). My parents and Dottie were able to make it up to watch so that was also wonderful!

Preschool
Terrace is attending preschool and LOVING it. We are all enjoying this time watching her grow (her imagination is ever expanding!) and become more independent while I am able to get some errands done and take some down time while she is there two mornings a week. I usually come home for Braeden to take a nap. Brad will have the same days off as her pk next year so I hoping to volunteer in her classroom. So far, her favorite friends are Jacob and Kellan and usually her favorite part of the day is outside, snack, or painting. Here is a picture from her first day.

for my followers...
it will be awhile before posting again...our computer is full and I can't upload any more pictures until I transfer pictures off (not likely) or we figure out which external hard drive to get. we are all doing wonderful and for those of you that have not seen braeden lately - he is one happy, chubby baby! T is doing wonderful as well - loving preschool. Fall is here - YAY! first frost yesterday and only 29 degrees at 8 am - yikes!

Braeden almost 5 months...
another month gone by...so close to 6 months old...yikes! his personality has really come out this last week and will continue. I am done nursing :( and he has packed on the pounds!!! He was up to 15lb 10 oz last week so who knows how much he weighs now but we can feel and see it on him! We started cereal with him and pretty quickly progressed to morning and evening feedings. He has caught on really quick and just gives us such puppy dog eyes when we are eating and he is not. He is also reaching and grabbing with much success! Terrace can now make him laugh which I could listen to ALL DAY! She just has such love for him!
here are a variety of pictures of our little man...
his is usually ALL SMILES
ferndale street festival
feeding him his first cereal (which is actually day 3 - I was to lazy to track down the camera the first 2 times)
more eating and playing in the high chair - so far we can get him to eat sweet potatoes and carrots but he really likes pears and applesauce
most current pictures of B - grabbing his ear and his feet with drool (or spit up) on his shirt if he is not doing one of the below he probably has a hand in his mouth

Terrace random pics..
cheap face paint = great entertainment and easy clean up!
soccer class in Ferndale - she loved it, but we noticed she was playing soccer on her tip toes so we are moving onto Ballet/dance to see how much she likes it :)
Ferndale Street Festival - we went to hear Space Band but she ended up dancing to Death by Radio and enjoying that ALOT
she fell asleep on Brad before we left...
train ride and visit in the fire truck with Brodie and Jaiden
dance skills...
time for some group dancing - she would have stayed all evening I think
