look'n better

I was asked to put an updated picture of her boo-boo on here. It is looking so much better! We had such a fun night at our friend Micah's house last night. Terrace had so much fun with Doc, a golden retriever. He was very hyper and kept licking her and she could not stop laughing. Everytime he would come over she would grab at him, it was so great to watch. She is getting more and more excited about our cats as well and just shakes her hands up and down anytime she can see them. The cats want nothing to do with her, of course. Yikes, she is 7 mo. old this week!

first boo-boo

Our laptop is fixed so I have updated with quite a few new posts....enjoy

Here are a few pictures of TJ's first owey. She was in her carseat (not belted in) and she fell out of it onto the cement. She is feeling perfectly fine.....it just looks bad.

She got to try teething biscuits for the first time today and loves them, she got very mad at me when I tried to take it away...

family visit

We had an amazing week with our family visiting. Brad's brother Scott, wife Julie, and their son Lance came for a visit. We were able to convince Dottie to come up and suprised her with their arrival. We spent most of the time just hanging out and watching the kids play. Here are a few pictures of us walking in Birch Bay, visiting Lynden, our ferry ride to Whidbey Island, and Lance pulling Brad's hair (one of his favorite activities). It was so much fun to watch TJ and Lance interact and "play" together. We were sad to see them go though TJ and I will be going to visit them in early June! We can't wait!!!!

painting and play time

Julie and Lance joined us for playgroup. We went to library time and then over to Tube Time to play. This was sooo much fun for everyone!

Terrace showing Lance how to paint.....jk they both had a great time and then we washed them up in the bathtub

cutest cousins

Julie and I couldn't pass up this oppourtunity to dress them alike....so cute!

Happy Valentine's day!!!

just had to post this to show her cute valentine's day outfit....

nights out...

We have been spoiled lately with many nights out to ourselves thanks to our family and good friend Crystal, thanks so much!! Terrace continues to do really well for our friends and family. This hopefully will make it easier to leave her for 5 nights for our soon approaching Mexico trip; it is going to be very hard for both of us! We even considered just taking her with us but we know she will be in great hands and are very excited to take full advantage of our time in Cancun. Here is a picture of us after the wonderful gold coin dinner for Brad's work (yes, Brad is in a nice suit).

Valentines party

We had some our friends over for a kids valentines party. It was a huge hit and we had a blast! The kids painted and made valentines....there were so many young infants that we did a lot of foot prints. We can't wait to do another party in the Spring. Here are some of the highlights...

she thinks paint tastes well I guess...

"making one just for you daddy"

I made a post office for the older children to "mail" their valentines

sitting up and teething

some pictures of TJ learning to sit up...

anything you give her will get chewed on, here are are her favorites ( a picture album and frozen washcloth)

oh my.....6 months

On Feb 2nd Terrace turned 6 months old. She is now almost 17 lbs and 26 inches long. Brad and I both feel that she has really "grown up" in this last month. We think she was watching how much her cousin Lance was doing and learned from him. She now rolls over, eats anything we put in front of her, sits up by herself (for the most part), sings for us (screams!), loves bath time (thanks for the tub Lisa), figured out the jump-a-roo, and sleeps 11-12 hours wihtout waking us up!!! She is also working on her bottom teeth so has not been such a happy camper this last week.
