Almost 9 months prego...yikes!
I am now 35 weeks pregnant and feeling encouraged. I had a dr appt on Friday and my BP is good, baby is now faced correctly and still measuring right where he should be. This is encouraging news in that it increases my chances of avoiding a c-section this time around. I am starting to get comments from people I do not know asking how close I am so I know I am looking big. I am getting more uncomfortable and not sleeping as well...but I think it is better than when I was prego with Terrace. We are getting more accomplished in the baby's room and I am feeling more comfortable with the idea of having two children to take care of sooner than later. We are ready to meet him; I can't wait to see what he looks like. He is still moving alot and it is fun to feel different limbs and body parts.
Terrace is getting more and more excited about baby coming. The poor girl has seen the inside of way too many public bathrooms. We involve her as much as possible and she was a great help getting his clothes organized and hung up. She told me the other day she wants him to be a boy-girl and its name should be John and Kate plus 8...it was hilarious!
I had a GREAT baby shower at Dream Dinners where my friends made meals for our family. It was sooo much fun and we now have alot of yummy meals in our freezer...thanks ladies!!! here is a picture of only some of the ladies there......I brought the camera out too late...bummer

Big Girl Bed
We got new carpet installed this week...what a chore but it is so great now! TJ has been waiting for her new bed to be set up and to use her new sheets. We put the bed together and had her come in and it was sooo cute. She loves the bed and think is most excited that there are two beds to jump on as it is a trundle bed. She has no sadness that baby will be using "her" crib and dresser.

we stayed two nights in a condo in birch bay (thank you Sara) bc our bed was on the floor and that does not feel so well when 8 1/2 months pregnant....here is a picture of tj in the bed

Brad and Terrace plus one head to GA
Brad and Terrace had this trip planed to GA for a couple months to see Scott graduate from OCS school. Scott was unaware they were coming and it was really hard on Julie and Brad to keep it a secret but they did! They were leaving on a flight Tues morning from Seattle. I knew I would have a hard time with them gone but we thought I would be too uncomfortable so we didn't book a ticket for myself. By Sunday I was getting sad and found that flights were cheap enough and decided to join them. We did not tell Julie I was coming along and what a great SURPRISE!
It was a full day of travel to get there and another full day to get home but it was worth it. I got no comments on how big I was until the day of travel home and then I got alot! Scott was very happy we were there and it was sooo great to spend time with them. Everyone was so nice in GA and the weather was awesome as well! My friend Amelia lives in Atlanta and drove down to spend an afternoon with us which was so great to see her.
Lance and Terrace did so well together as long as we were not in the hotel room. We wish we lived closer to Scott, Julie and the kids and it is always sad when it is time to leave. The flights home went well but the drive home was very tough as we were so tired and we spent the rest of the weekend catching up on sleep!
Enjoying the BEST bbq just outside of Birmingham AL....we had a huge sampler platter. We stopped to eat before our 2.5 hr drive to Columbus GA.

all together right after we got checked in, terrace is introducing lance to the itouch....it was used the whole trip as brad put cartoons and easy games on it - life saver!
Visiting the Chattahoochee River walk, turtles live in the river, they were so cute

found a water spout to play with as it was so hot
Family picture outside out hotel
Dinner in downtown Columbus with Amelia; Terrace was so quiet while we enjoyed each others company! thanks millie for making it down to see us, we love you!

The next day before Scott's graduation

how cute are these two? very cute!

Lance, Jaden, and Brad and Terrace during graduation. The kids did well and my pictures of Scott did not turn out :( We are very proud of you Scott!

Brad and Scott after graduation
After nap, left overs in bed for TJ and mom. We took late naps (until 5pm or later) and stayed up late every night while we were there and never adjusted to the 3 hr time difference...
Our wonderful graduation dinner (again...such great food!), notice the matching TJ and baby dress we found and she has since been obsessed with this outfit. We had a great time together and the restaurant was very nice allowing Lance and TJ to have their own area to run around and dance.

Our first of two flights home and like every other trip we have taken, Brad and Terrace sleeping!

Baby Shower
My friends Jami and Lisa through us such a great baby shower. TJ was really excited to be able to come to baby boys party though it took some explaining to her that he would not be at the party to eat cupcakes and paint bibs with us. We all had a great time. We got to see sooo many friends and it was very great to catch up with everyone. We got to see Katie and Saga again, we had visited them earlier in month and were so happy to see them one more time before they flew home.

7 & 8 months pregnant
Pregnancy is going great! 6 and 7 months prego was fun feeling him move more and more. 8 months prego is a little more tiring but still going really well. I am now taking iron twice a day and feeling better since I started that. I am sleeping well until 5 or 6 in the morning usually. The gym is pretty difficult but I enjoy walking. My back has started to hurt but if I can get heat on my back once or twice a day it really helps.
At the dr appt today (33 1/2 wks) they confirmed his head is down and should stay down but he is face out like TJ's was. There is still a good chance that he will turn the correct way. I hope he does as I feel it will increase my chances of avoiding a c section again. He is measuring the correct size which is also good news as TJ was measuring big by this point. My BP was a little high again but I think that is bc I was racing around this morning then to sit in 45 min of traffic bc of a jack knife semi on the freeway...bc of the snow...AGAIN...urgh!
I have an appt next Friday and then I think I will start going every week...yikes, he will be here soon
7 months prego

painting baby boys room, tj had so much fun helping and she did great....the room is blue with a dark brown trim
