roadtrip to OR

Caleb, Megan, and Brad showing their best smiles

Brad's "little" brothers

We drove down to see Taber in Eugene Oregon. We had an extra long trip down there with rain and traffic. We had not seen Taber in over 6 months so we spent a lot of time just hanging out together. His brother Caleb and his girlfriend Megan were there as well. Terrace got a lot of attention from Brad's extended family (Caleb and Taber). Our drive home was long by choice as we stopped to shop, eat, and see Ray and Kelly in Sumner. I think Terrace was excited to wake up in her own crib Monday morning.

time inside

Stan craving attention while I update this blog

The snow keeps coming, well it is slowing down and melting.....the main roads are finally clear!!! We have had a lot more time inside to play with new toys which is just a blast. (the cats are also enjoying the extra attention)

We are very excited for our road trip to Eugene, OR to see Taber. This will be the longest road trip Brad and I have taken together so hopefully the roads are still clear and we are not "stuck" in the car together more than in planned....JK. We are also really looking forward to our sleep over super bowl weekend at Ray and Kelly's. It has been to long since we were all together. The Hendrickson's are ready for Spring.

out for a walk

sitting in a high chair like a big girl still all bundled up

still signs of her mohawk from yesterday :)

Brad and I decided to bundle Terrace up test out my new car in the snow and go for a walk down at the water. It is such a beautiful bright sunny blue sky day- around 22 degrees without the wind chill factored in. So, needless to say we did not walk for long as Terrace's face got very cold and she was not so sure about the whole thing. I think she was confused and did not recognize us with our hats and coats on. We then headed to my favorite cafe in Birch Bay and had some coffee and soup so we could all warm up a bit. This time around we have a lot less snow but the roads are a flat sheet of ice. Hope everyone is staying safe and warm!

just hanging out...

she loves her new toys, we sat on the floor for a 1/2 hr with these blocks

this is what happens when dad is in charge, tj gets a mohawk and cereal all over her....

we call this the fist of furry and women power!!!

I was told I needed to update so hear it is. Terrace turned 5 months old about a week ago and has had a rough couple weeks of ear infections but hopefully they are gone now. She loves to sit up, grab her feet, grab at out faces (especially mouths), look at her fist, go to story time at the library, and is getting more and more into new toys. I think she will sit up unsupported before she rolls over which is just fine with us. She is getting more and more used to cereal as we had to take a few brakes from this and likes prunes and apples mixed in.

We have slowed down alot this month and it is great. Brad is still around alot more and it is so great. One of my favorite things to do is watch them interact, they love each other sooo much. We are currently "snowed in" again with only 6 inched this time and it should all freeze tonight. Here are a few pictures of our smiling, growing, girl!
