it was really our ultra sound picture I am almost 9 weeks pregnant and due late April! I was showing her the picture (looks like a blob) and she said it was a baby raccoon and I can't really disagree with her....great imagination these days.
For the most part I am doing pretty well. I can feel really yucky some days and most of the house work is just not getting done by me....THANKS BABE! But today I felt pretty good so I think I just need to eat ALL day ( must be a boy). We were originally not going to find out but I am nervous about having a boy so now I want to find out so I can read all the books on how to raise a boy.....hormones! Terrace has a little concept of a baby in my belly as we have numerous friends that are pregnant but she also thinks there is a baby in Brad's tummy....poor girl. YAY
I will post pictures from TJ's birthday weekend soon!

big girl bed....
We have a twin trundle bed for her to use but thought we would start with this day bed. The crib did not come with rails like I thought it did so we will have to see how the rolled up blanket does the next couple nights. Her first night and nap have gone just fine! She was soooo cute this morning when I went in there.

a few happenings within the last few weeks
Our 3rd wedding anniversary!!! Love you babe! Brad planned a wonderful night away a couple days early at the Silver Reef hotel which included massages, manicure, dinner and breakfast and a beautiful suite....what a great time it was to relax. Crystal brought Jaiden and Terrace over in the morning so we were able to all go to the pool and come back and relax as well. No pictures as I forgot our camera
yummy roast dinner for our anniversary and no bake cheesecake for dessert

Brad's first 15K - he did great but did not love it!

My 10 year High School reunion - not many pictures but such a great time. Brad was also able to connect with a football team mate who is married to a girl from my high school.

camping at the ocean
We enjoyed a wonderful memorial day weekend camping at Nick and Amanda's property in Moclips WA near Ocean Shores. We could not have asked for much better weather even though it was a little cold (alot cold the 1st night) and windy at times. By the 2nd day we had things figured out and we all slept much better and warmer. Terrace loved camping but constantly wanted to walk away from us to follow other children - lately she is very social and looking to interact with other children where ever we are. Thank you Nick and Amanda for having us, we had a really great time!

just a quick note....
so I know I need to catch up and I have some beautiful pictures to post that my friend Caitlin took for us....but just a quick note
Terrace blows our mind everyday with her new words, phrases, sentences and understanding she has of the world (her world). A few weeks ago we took some musical birthday cards from my parents house for her to play with in the car and they are mostly broken now. But today in the car she was telling me I want shake your body and saying it over and over (she is a repeater child) and then I noticed she could see one of the cards. I handed it to her and that was the song! It is crazy what the brain is capable of. As we have said so many times - what a joy she is!!! Being a parent is more amazing then I ever expected
