So I am up early, as I have been most of the week to try and get "stuff" done. It seems lately when Brad works nights that it is really hard to get anything extra accomplished. T is now sitting next to me as she is an early riser (morning person like me). We had a great time celebrating Braeden's birthday, along with 8 other birthdays this month! I hope to update soon from our camera.
We had family pictures taken at the beginning of April and we got some really great pictures. The kiddo's were not in the mood most of the time (as it was 6 pm because I love the evening light) but loved the beach time at the end. Kerri did a really great job and you will see some funny pictures as we were trying to be creative with the kids. It makes me really excited (and nervous with busy Braeden) about all the beach time we can enjoy this summer.

here are some that I played around with

Terrace update
Terrace is very excited about being 3 1/2 and will tell anyone who will listen (she also thinks she is turning four very soon). She is around 39 inches tall and 30 lbs. Terrace is still enjoying preschool and we are excited for her to go three mornings a week next year. She is now counting to 30, recognizes most letters, and has a great interest in learning how to write her name and other letters. She is also very curious about what letter certain words start with and how they are spelled. While she has challenged our patience on a daily basis her humor and imagination make it all worth it :)
She is a very confident, animated, persuasive, stubborn, early rising-princess! Ballet, tap and changing her clothes at least 5 times a day are her favorite activities right now. I need to start taking daily pictures of her outfits she chooses because they are priceless! She looked exactly like Jane Fonda the other day with a pink leotard, brown tights, fury boots, and a belt. She is excited to start her second round of swim lessons again next week. She has learned alot and I am happy that she enjoys the lessons. We just finished a mini sports camp where she got to try floor hockey, basketball, and t-ball. She had a good time but is not such a fan of basketball and floor hockey.
Terrace wants to be when she grows up - started as a mermaid, then tinkerbell, then cheerleader, then princess ice skater (from watching olympics) and she says grandma says it is ok to change my mind many times because I am three

Braeden loves to play with balls
He doesn't show his unique form in this video but he usually gets up on one knee and one foot and throws with one hand

Braeden catch up!
Braeden is almost 11 months old and such a sweet little boy! At his 9 month appt he was 29 inches tall and 22.5 lbs (around 90%) He is now around 25lbs :) He seems fairly cautious, curious, and is determined to figure out how things work. He is content to play around by himself most times and is now getting really frustrated when something he likes gets taken away from him. Terrace enjoys having him around and will bug him when she is bored. He now speaks loudly when she is doing something to him that he does not like.
From crawling at 8 months he quickly learned to climb up to his knee's and then a few weeks later to standing at 9 months. He has now been cruising around for a couple weeks and has been able to grab things off the dining room table for some time as well. About a week ago he started taking a few steps. For a few days there he thought he could just walk and did not want us to help him, but he has now learned it will take some practice. He has a great time walking with Terrace's dora car.
Braeden has been eating solid food since 8 1/2 months and is a garbage disposal!!! He can eat his tray clean so quickly and then be screaming for more in no time. He gets very excited about using a sippy cup and loves to find Terrace's cups with milk in them!
Some of his accomplishments - Signing more, milk, all done, starting to sign please blows kisses and puts his arms in the the air when we ask him how big he is, gives high fives and kisses, throws balls, and plays patty cake he says hi, dada, momma, uh (for uh-oh), ga, k sound for kitty and T sound for Terrace and my mom and I have heard him say "aris" for Terrace.
Some things he loves - his soft blankets, binki, balls, books with flaps, eating!, being outside, bath time, his toothbrush, loves to make loud sounds in every new room or building we are in to hear how it sounds and being around his sister, mom and dad.
Some of his dislikes - green beans, daddy wearing hats or unusual dress -up outfits, church nursery room, sitting in the stroller watching Terrace's activities
My friends had told me that baby boys are great and I can't explain why - but I feel the same way!! He is such a great addition to our family and we love him sooooo much!
