This is Diva Deb, our squash we created. I found these pieces you push into the pumpkin or in our case a squash to create a character. Terrace, Brad and I had a good time putting it together though Brad and Terrace lost interest much sooner than myself. (we learned a tall skinny pumpkin would work best) Every time I bring it to show TJ she gets really excited. Please note all of Deb's accessories

football weekend
Last weekend was filled with friends and football (wwu and seahawks). Most of Brad's football coaches were in town as 2 of them were getting inducted into the hall of fame. JP, Jamie, Kelly, and Ray stayed the whole weekend with us which was great and really fun for TJ. She woke up Sat am and was saying hi to everyone, excited there were people over. Brad had Sat evening off so he was able to see the whole game and hang out with everyone. I took Terrace home at half time for a nap. She is still bw 1-2 naps a day and we have found that she does so great through the 1st half of the game and then is ready to leave. That evening we spent time at coach Todd's amazing house catching up with old coaches and friends.
The next morning we were off to Bob's for brunch and the Seahawks game. We were there for most of the game and again Terrace let us know it was time for her to take a nap and the rest of the day was spent at the house relaxing!
Terrace really enjoys the backpack and was sooo excited to see the viking and hear the band playing

all together...and WWU WON!!
JP and Jamie ( a CWU Alumni who cheered for Western)
so cute in her piggies!
Jamie and Kelly with a drink as big as her!

Brad's home Grandma Mac visit
It is really great to have Brad home. Terrace was asleep when we picked him up from the airport but when she woke up and saw him she hugged him and rested her head on his shoulder for almost 30 min. This is what she did when we got home from CO as well, it is sooo sweet to see their bond! Dottie is also up visiting and Terrace is loving it. We had a nice dinner in Lynden last night and fun at the park and today ran some errands and went to the Bham farmers market. More pictures to come but had to post this funny one!

bellewood acres
Terrace and I went with Tricia and Ellie to pick apples at Bellewood Acres in Bellingham. We were able to see where they packed the apples, made cider and baked treats. The girls picked a couple apples and then we took golf carts out around the apple trees. This was my first time driving a golf cart, tricia was holding both of the girls, it was raining and we had to have someone help us start it.......very comical but we had a great time. Terrace I enjoyed some warm carmel apple cider that evening and we will be having some apple crisp tonight! Can't wait to go out to Stoneyridge Farm to get pumpkins and apple soon!

fun with gourds
The past couple years I have bought the gourds from Costco for decoration and Terrace has enjoyed playing with them, trying to give them to the cats, chewing on them, putting them in paper bags and walking around, and taking them in and out of the bowl and bags. It was a fun afternoon!

hovander again...
Hovander farm is becoming one of my/our favorite places. I will hopefully be taking alot of pictures, updating a lot this week so Brad can see them!
some updates on Terrace
she amazes us EVERYDAY with how much she understands; lately she has been working on mastering skills (walking up a hill, stacking and sorting, sitting in chairs), she now makes the horse noise, can get her shoes and coat when it is time to go (rembering where they are even when not right by the door), says hi and bye alot in a very cute voice, can throw away things when we ask, and gets other items we ask for. today she has been wanting to throw away alot of things and has been carrying around a starbucks bag full of random things, taking them in and out
walking in her big girl shoes

the peacock came towards her right up to the fence and she got scared

we had fed the goat some grass and she was trying to feed the geese (I think).

our 1st corn maze, she didn't care, she just wanted to touch the corn stalks

trying to open the doors and find the garbage can
