So we had a great warm night so I put a container of water outside for TJ to play in (her favorite toys right now are the cat dishes). She had so much fun splashing and sitting in the water. We came inside and I put her in one of her swimsuit coverups to get the bath ready and she came to see what I was doing. After standing for awhile watching me start the water she looked down with a confused face and I then looked as well to see a puddle.....
my first thought was that the toilet was leaking.....but no.....she had peed so, note to other moms.....don't turn on water when your little one is naked! It was really funny!
Terrace is also pretty much done with jar food and I am having fun making a variety of food for her to eat....usually it is what we are eating....just a little modified. She is really enjoying everything!

busy weekend....
We had a really busy fun filled long weekend. Dottie came up and had a good time with us and watched Terrace for us Sunday afternoon and evening.
On Saturday we went to Brian and Michelle's wedding in Snohomish after meeting my parents and Nick at the park.....terrace really liked the park and crawling on the dance floor at the wedding.
Most of Sunday we spent watching Brad's team "RECO" participate in Ski to Sea. Team RECO did great!!! Brad does the 36 mile road bike. He was doing so well but did get a flat tire that he had to change out. RECO is a local silk screen company and we all got sweatshirts and tshirts...YEAH!

Colorado
So I am finally posting about our trip to Colorado Springs to visit Scott, Julie and Lance. We had a WONDERFUL time. The flights went well though it is more work to get TJ a nap and keep her busy. It is so much fun to watch Lance and TJ play together and she had so much fun exploring their house and following their cat and dog around.
We had a great dinner with Julie's mom, brother and his wife when we arrived. The next day we went to a wonderful Mother's Day breakfast and then walked around a natural rock park, Garden of the God's. That afternoon we had fun with Julie's sister and her husband and their 5 month old daughter.
Over the next few days we relaxed in the mornings and were out and about in the afternoons. We visited Seven Falls in the afternoon and evening, did the Olympic Training Center tour, and went to 11,000 ft heading towards Pikes Peak. We spent the last day in Denver and had sooo much fun at the children's museum and walked around downtown.
While we were there Terrace learned how to pull herself up and got to try so many new snacks and food.....this is how we found our new Miss Piggy.....she likes to eat table food so much now. enjoy thte long list of pictures....

hard to be 9 months old...
TJ is 9 month olds and we are much busier these days watching TJ get into everything and trying to teach her no thank you, in which she responds by turning to us by shaking her head no back to us! She is also pulling herself up in her crib which is so cute! She is now signing all done and we think she in understanding who "dada" is. Her stranger anxiety has started, mostly in the grocery store and she is now more selective to whom she waves hi and bye to. We are working on her saying hi dada, high fives and clapping.
very cute story- we went to Hovander park today with Crystal and went on such a good walk. When we were visiting the pigs terrace started to make the piggy noise she learned a long time ago! It was soooooo cute!!!
We have had a hard couple days as TJ has not been feeling well. She has had a fever, stomach/digestive track little bug, and now pink eye. She is enjoying a pediatlite (sp?) rice cereal mix (thanks Lisa), banana, yogurt, applesauce and we will be trying soy formula for awhile! I have been slacking on taking pictures but will hopefully get some up soon. Brad and I are so excited to be leaving soon to see Scott, Julie, Lance and some of Julie's family! That's all for now....
