Meet Lilly...

Time for cereal....

We all had a great time last night watching Terrace eat cereal for the first time. She did great, though I think her favorite part is chewing on the spoon and sitting in the booster seat on the table. She was very messy by the end.

Our first snow and a whole lot of it....

We are enjoying so much snow up here in Blaine. Brad and I came home from Whistler (6 hr. drive, 2 hour border wait) to find over a foot of snow this last Sunday and it just kept coming down. Dottie is snowed in and we are much enjoying the company and extra attention for Terrace. We tried to drive her to the bus on Monday and only made it to Ferndale (10 miles) and turned around because the freeway is so bad. Whatcom County does not usually get snow like this and the plows can not keep up.

We are staying warm and cozy inside though we did venture out with Terrace so she could see and touch the snow. She was not so happy with me when I had her wear her sun glasses or touch the cold snow. Today we are still experiencing blue skys and record lows of 7 degrees and with the wind chill it can feel like -10 I guess (I have not been outside to test this).

First Thanksgiving

We had great Thanksgiving weekend!!! Brad had to work Thanksgiving night so Terrace and I went down to my parents and Dottie came up and cooked dinner up here for them. Terrace had a great time watching her 1 year old cousin and getting kissed. Then Brad and I left for Whistler on Saturday and Terrace got to stay with Grandma Dottie. They had a great time, so much fun actually that Dottie is now snowed in from over a foot and a half of snow. Brad and I had a great time in Whistler with some friends. Brad and the guys went snowboarding and Lisa and I went on the zip line......we had so much fun, but it was great to get back to our little boundle of joy; we both missed her alot.

There is also a picture from Mt Baker of the family on opening day; Brad went snowboarding and Terrace and I hung out in the lodge.

I just love these smiles, they are the highlight of our day.....everyday! I hope they make you smile as well!

Ladies night out....

We had a great ladies night out at Chopstix and Ozzy's. I didn't realize how much I had missed time with the girls. Terrace much enjoyed time again with her grandparents. Thanks ladies for a great night!
