We made a few cookies for Santa which TJ was really excited about! As we were decorating I think she was more excited about eating the decorations and licking her fingers. When I asked her last night to grab a plate to put a few cookies on she was ecstatic!
We have had presents under the tree for over a week now and she is sooo ready to open them while at the same time when I told her Santa may bring her a candy cane - you should have seen her face light up. We only have ornaments at the top of the tree as she has all the others in a pile under the tree that she takes out to play with and then returns. Brad and I finished her kitchen which has been a lot of work but we are really proud of it and so excited to have used majority recycled products from the re-store.

SNOW
We have had snow here for over a week now I think and a lot of it! Terrace has been loving it!!! We took her sledding at a friends house, have thrown snowballs, taught her about snow angels and she shows us how she rolls and tries to swim in the snow. We have shoveled ALOT but Terrace prefers to walk through and find the deepest areas. The roads have been pretty decent up until yesterday but I think we now have solid ice on the ground. Yeah for a white Christmas!
snow outside our house after 1st "storm"

TJ changed into her swim suit as soon as we came in from the snow; we are so thankful we have heat!
sledding; it was really cold and windy

after storm 2 and maybe 3...I have lost track

Nutcracker
Grandma McFarland came up with a new tradition of taking Terrace to the Whidbey Island Nutcracker. We were a little hesitant bc Terrace is so young to sit through a long show and was sooo tired from a busy weekend BUT she did awesome! The show was sooo great and we had good seats up close. Since the show Terrace is really excited about Nutcrackers and princesses. She calls herself the princess cinderella and has dance moves she remembers from the show; very fun to watch! Thank you Dottie for taking us and we are excited for next year!

Lights of Christmas
We went to Lights of Christmas again this year with our friends and had a great time. It was not as cold as last year but did rain on us off and on. There are such beautiful lights and I think TJ's favorite part was the horse ride and helping with baby Brooklyn. Santa was also there and he did have candy canes this time!

BP christmas party
We had a great time in early December at Brad's family work party. BP does such a great job for the children to enjoy themselves. Terrace had been telling me that she was excited to see Santa but I was a sceptic. When we got to our turn to see Santa she ran to him sooooo excited and asked for candy canes.

Healthy Baby
We had a great ultrasound today and baby is healthy and VERY ACTIVE, it was hard for the technician to get pictures for us because it was moving so much. By the end, baby calmed down and everything looks great. Baby is measuring a little big already so they are thinking 8-9 lbs again, but time will tell.
For those wanting to know if it is a boy or girl you can see below....

we were able to get a clear shot of our little BOY as you can see....he gave us a clear shot right away!
